Before i get into EIR class, i have had got a twitter account. Most of the people might find it lame or troublesome to have one. But initially, i doesnt know what it is or probably doesnt know whats the purpose of twitter since i have got a facebook! HAHAHA. I was influenced by my friends as they keep on tweeting! tweet tweet & tweet. Nowadays, it has became popular too! So, i decide to create it long time ago!
At the very first time, i find it so lame la. Keep on tweeting each time what you are doing. THEN! i realised, its actually a place for you to speak up your mind. As in, speak up your little tiny secret thoughts. Whereas, facebook can be seen widely.

Hence, how has Twitter (micro-blogging) enhanced me in my learning of EIR? Twitter (micro-blogging) help us to facilitate active learning. it helps me to foster interaction about a given topic. whereas, twitter serve as a simple way of conferencing, to share thoughts about particular sessions on people who arent able to attend the sessions. therefore. As students update twitter more often than blog. This allows absentees being updated about their previous or curremt sessions/ lessons. Also, we look at twitter often than going to view each people blog! :> right?

So, how can i use Twitter and Blogspot for research purposes?
Twitters can allow a lot of followers certainly have a edge here. it can happen anytime, anywhere. you can easily give comments to people who twit it as often. Can also ask questions through twitter. It also able to be retweeted and thus, there might be a alot of answers from others.
Blogs can use research through chatbox , questions.

my destination, my dreams.

HELLO. back again to blog about the assignment. I have yet to start with the second part of the portfolio. Only got to start off abit with the website and theres still alot more to go. DAMN STRESSFUL, i swear. From the website evaluation, i have learnt different types of criteria to evaluate the website and gain much knowledge. however, this time round is not easy as it requires alot of work to be done.

Second activities is to get into the secondlife and get into our dreams destination.

my dreams destination is always going to paris. its MUST GO COUNTRY and i remembered telling myself that whoever that wants to marry me, needs to bring me there for honeymoon. HAAHHA. :>:>

I want to see the effiel tower in real life. its located at the champs de mars in paris. its a famous place obviously! its has become a global icon of france and the most recognizable structure in the world.

i went to multimedia website to search for my dreams holidays which is paris. i use the purpose to evaluate. This is because i think that the currency of the website is very important so as to show whether it is up to date information.

Reflection for practical 7!

hi, i am finally back in action! i didnt get to blog for a time is because of the piling projects i have man! oh no, its tedious. nevertheless, i will start blogging from practical 7! oh yea, forgotten to wish everyone a happy new year(though a little late) hahaha.

let me recall what i have done on the practical 7! oh yah, discussion topic on stomp? look through stomp and do the assignment about that!

Firstly, I normally will look at the sections where by it shows and tell us the top 8 hot topic for the day. As that section is right in the middle of the page upon visiting the page and i felt that that since it is already called the 'Top 8 news' should be mean that they are interesting news. Of course after reading the news posted, at times i might just get some information and news i won't get to know if I did not visit STOMP.com today.

Apparently, citizen journalism is an article or journal written by the citizen or people in their own country. They shares stories, dealing with the areas of their story and post photos or videos of the event that had happened. Basically, it is like a report writing that mentioned what is the situation about. Citizen journalist have the power to tell, find and share stories.
The criteria i use to evaluate stomp. com is the purpose, coverage, authority, accuracy, currency, presentation, etc. Reasons being as these are significance criteria to evaluate stomp.com.

To summarize, i have learnt more about stomp and able to explain at the same time apply relevant evaluation on different types of internet research.

lets talk about... second part of the blog. what if i am able to create your own version of “Stomp”. For me, definitely I will talk about SHOPPING! SHOPPING is serious my first love. This is because to me, SHOPPING can actually cheer me up whenever I am feeling down. it never fails to make my day. I will create a column in STOMP to talk about places that sells wonderful and delicious HEELS. I may also jolt down comments about the shop i went and rate it. I felt that this may also help readers to know more variety of shops and allowing them to go around and take a look on whats really nice around singapore. (:
