Reflection on my fourth lesson :D

Its so cool when i have actually learn other types of search engines. They are (1) Meta Search Engines and (2) Subject directory.

With this two facilities, i tried to research on my following topic and i find it rather unique rather than using google or yahoo.
i think that meta search is rather effective compared to subject directory. Meta search uses software that is best for websites that is related to our topic. In terms of researching wise, meta search is better. However, subject directory have some more popular categories at the side which you can browse on, this makes searching for information easier and faster.

As for the sites feeds, it helps my to go to my favourite links with just a click from my blog. It is easier and time effective for me.
Best part of collaboration with people with other student doing the same topic is that i will have different kind of information from different people. Much knowledge can be passed to one another.

There experience is unique compared to the E-shopping spree because this actually allow us to try it on and we can actually try it on whereas e shopping we couldn't see whether its nice. besides that, i have gained this e learning experience by knowing friends through online if they do have a shy character.

hi guys! i am backkkkkkkkkkkk. whoooo~~ it dont seems easy doing this google research ah. agree? haha. okay, actually i am not very impressed by google's search functions/ features. i find it very normal because maybe i have already use it very long and i am not very into computer stuffs? HAHA.

hey people its my first time discussing stuffs on forums! i find it kind of weird actually... maybe because i am quite a outspoken person face to face rather than on forums? i find forums too formal that couldn't really help in my research.AND ALSO, forums might make be too formal to make me understand? hahaha. yaaaa especially talking to people which i may not know at all! what if ....... k,whatever. ahhaha

next, why must we do citation? good question also... hmm. for our own references? give credits to the sources of word or summaries what we have done. show respect by borrowing other people's ideas? give readers an opportunity to check out my sources of accuracy! and lastly, teacher insists that i should do or marks will be deducted! HAHAHA!

Thoughts.

Hi there! guess this week is a tedious week for us yea? HAHA. so many work to do! moreover, this sem is really killing me man! hows everyone then? anyway, its the second time in this class already. yet i still dont meet any friends:<>

okay, lets get back to the topic! Posting on discussion forum is my virgin time. HAHAHA :! I HAVE NEVER COMMENT ON DISCUSSION FORUM BEFORE. i feel quite uncomfortable posting up actually. maybe kind of not used to it that so many people are reading our thoughts? thus i may feel that there is like a barrier for us to express our thoughts freely!

hmm. then how is the experience different compared to sharing face to face? eh. like i said, its the 2nd lesson yet i didnt know anyone. thus, sharing face to face might not be a solution. even if we might know each other, we might now be discussing the topic itself. hence, discussing online might be a quite nice experience as even if we didnt know each other, we could still comment on it. HAHA. even if there is anything wrong, no one knows who you are AHAHAHA.

LASTLY! DO I FIND IT ONLINE ACTIVITY MEANINGFUL? There is actually pros and cons. i find it meaningful in a way that even if we do not know each other, we could still know each other views and comments. however, it might not be meaningful because we might not really understand what they mean at times?

Reflection on my second lesson :D

hi there, there goes my reflection on the second time of EIR lesson. honestly speaking, i was quite lost for the second lesson. the second lesson was actually my first lesson. HAHA. my luckily, i met with a friendly unknown classmate that assist me through out the lesson. :> thanks david. haha.
the lessons goes on with bla bla bla....and then we were asked to choose a few topics and compare on why we choose this website instead of another. so, i decided to research on the topic called, the causes and effects of single parent. i choose this topic because i am quite a homely girl that misses home. HAHA. i love to know more about family stuffs or probably say facts of life. we were told how to identify journals, forums, organizational website etc... hence, compare why we choose maybe yahoo than google.
afterall, i find the class quite tense up because we actually dont really get the chance to interact with one another. probably, we dontknow each other.

hello everyone. i am huiwen from business process & system engineering. Currently studying at year 2.2 and this is my last cds : > i choose this cds because i find it different from all other cds as it was actually using social networking to interact and share our work.oh ya, i am new to blog as well and i feel it quite dumb here :/ haha. i am quite a computer noob la:> my favourite past time was playing basketball during my secondary school days but i hardly have time for it now as i am working part time at far east plaza too! i am a very friendly, noisy, joker and outgoing girl haha! (if you know me) . but i get emotional easily when things wasnt right too. i am not into stuffs like games or tv. so you will be wondering what i do at home? i hardly have time alone but i love listening to music. music from most of the r&b singers like taio cruz, sean kingston and many more. oh ya, clubbing once in a while is also my favourite time when i can enjoy with my friends. you will often find me at town as well haha. its like my second home. :> my favourite internet sites are often google if i am doing research. My hobby is singing and shopping. i love songs that have meaningful lyrics and for shopping is always a never failed thing for me to do. haha! here is one blogshop which i often shop!
